About Doc Martyn’s
Founded in 2025 by Doctor Martyn Green, an expert physician and philanthropist, Doc Martyn’s Charity delivers critical emergency response, medical outreach, and social work across Thailand, with a vital focus on the underserved regions of Isan. Operating in a state of permanent readiness, our specialized rescue teams deploy directly to isolated areas to provide rapid, life-saving intervention for road traffic collisions, farming accidents, and industrial mishaps, while our dedicated search and rescue units brave extreme weather events like northern floods and unpredictable earthquakes to stabilize cut-off communities. When disaster strikes, our teams also undertake the grueling but deeply necessary duty of body recovery, ensuring human dignity in death and bringing closure to grieving families.
Parallel to our emergency response, we combat grassroots vulnerability through targeted healthcare, education, and community outreach. We actively break regional taboos by empowering women and girls through Ayesha’s Female Health Screening Program, manage chronic illnesses like HIV/AIDS, diabetes, and hypertension, and deliver compassionate treatment pathways for alcohol and substance abuse. Grounded in a mission to alleviate poverty, we operate localized food distribution networks and rebuild substandard housing to protect vulnerable families from dangerous living conditions. Furthermore, we work aggressively to dismantle child sex trafficking pipelines and eliminate child labor, combining high-risk rescue interventions with holistic educational sponsorships to protect the fundamental right of every child to grow up safe, free, and empowered.

Affectionately known to his patients and colleagues as “Doc Martyn”—brings over 45 years of international medical experience to his mission in Thailand. With a distinguished medical career spanning the UK, Jamaica, and Australia, he now dedicates his extensive knowledge to providing medical assistance where it is needed most.
As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Doc Martyn combines rigorous, world-class clinical training with a deeply empathetic approach to patient care.

Flooding & Earthquate Search & Rescue
Fueled by climate change and deforestation, Southeast Asia is facing a sharp rise in extreme weather events, from devastating northern floods to unpredictable earthquakes. Our dedicated Search and Rescue (SAR) units operate in a state of permanent readiness, utilizing continuous, rigorous training and advanced swift-water equipment to deploy instantly, pulling families from danger and stabilizing cut-off communities the moment disaster strikes.
Body Recovery & Retrieval
When fatal accidents or natural disasters strike, our teams step forward to handle the deeply challenging but entirely necessary duty of body recovery and retrieval. We undertake this grueling work with the utmost reverence and professionalism because we believe human dignity does not end at death, and we owe it to grieving families to bring their loved ones home for a decent, proper burial.

Our program directly funds essential school supplies, uniforms, learning materials, and transportation fees, ensuring that financial hardship never forces a child out of the classroom or into premature labor.
Alongside academic sponsorships, we confront the immediate, devastating impacts of child poverty by securing vital nutrition, healthcare access, and safe living environments for vulnerable families. By removing the financial barriers to a complete education and ensuring a child’s basic survival needs are met, we protect youth from exploitation, foster long-term community resilience, and empower the next generation to build a brighter, self-sustaining future.
The prevention of child sex trafficking and slavery
We are fiercely committed to dismantling the networks of child exploitation, sex trafficking, and modern-day slavery that target vulnerable youth across Thailand’s highest-poverty regions. Operating on the frontlines, our specialized teams implement aggressive community monitoring, legal advocacy, and safe-house interventions to rescue children from immediate danger and disrupt trafficking pipelines before they take root.
Because traffickers prey heavily on economic desperation, we combine these protection efforts with targeted prevention strategies, providing at-risk families with financial aid, education, and safe livelihood opportunities. By securing children within classrooms, raising localized awareness, and establishing ironclad community reporting networks, we shut down paths of exploitation and defend the fundamental right of every child to grow up safe, free, and protected.
